In order to select the best research papers of higher education students, the first round of the International Student Research Paper Competition was held on 28 March 2025 at the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics of the KFC of KhNUIA.
The following works of higher education students were submitted for the competition:
- ‘Integration of the electronic warfare module into the navigation system of the aircraft’ by: Oleh Kliuiko and Vladyslav Vykhodets (study group Pdsp-24-1b);
- ‘Autonomous UAV navigation’ by: Alisa Morozova and Kateryna Yano (study group UAV Pdsp-24-1b);
- ‘Automated UAV group delivery system using a helicopter’ by Valeriia Savchenko (study group UAV Pdsp-24-1b); and
- ‘Automated hybrid power supply system for use in eVTOL’ - by Victoria Lopuga (study group Pdsp-24-1b).
The jury consisted of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department: PhD Volkanin Yevhen, Stushchanskyi Yurii and Matveieva Valeriia.
The jury examined the students' works, listened to the presentations, and held a discussion on each topic.
The works submitted to the competition have scientific novelty, technical justification and relevance.
According to the jury, the best research paper and the best presentation was the one by Victoria Lopuga entitled “Automated Hybrid Power System for Use in eVTOL”.
This work will be submitted to the Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to participate in the second round of the International Student Research Paper Competition.
Other participants of the first round of the competition also expressed a desire to continue developing their chosen research areas and will actively participate in the following competitions and scientific conferences.
