On 24 April 2025, Svitlana Hrybanova, a senior teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a demonstrative practical lesson for the students of the group TEdsr-24-1b in the discipline ‘Materials and Details’ on the topic: 'Purpose of Key Connections'.

In the process of studying the educational material, the teacher used modern methods of updating the basic knowledge: express tests and blitz questionnaires.

Practical class enhanced the students’ knowledge of the topic. During the lesson, the cadets gained a visual understanding of the different types of key connections and their application in real machines and mechanisms, developed the skills of identifying keys by their design features, actively participated in the discussion and asked questions, which demonstrates their interest in the topic.

The practical training is an important step in the training of future technical specialists, as knowledge of key connections is fundamental to understanding the principles of operation of many mechanical gears and machine assemblies.

The results of the task performed by the higher education students showed that they had mastered the educational material of the topic. The assimilation of knowledge was also facilitated by the teacher's use of various forms of learning activities: group, frontal, individual.

The Head of the Practical Training Department, Oksana Borysenko, and the Head of the Department of Management, Social, Humanitarian and Fundamental Disciplines, Maryna Kiriukhina, who were present at the lesson, noted that teacher Svitlana Hrybanova possesses innovative technologies of educational activities and implements a competency-based approach to the learning process.

The lesson was conducted at a high scientific and methodological level.
