On 9 April 2025, Volodymyr Povod, the teacher of the Cyclic Commission for Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, with the participation of Hennadii Oleksiienko, the aviation technician for maintenance, repair and diagnostics of aviation equipment, and Rodion Yarovyi, the pilot of the AFU aviation unit Mi-8MSB, conducted a binary lesson for the students of educational and professional degree ‘professional junior bachelor’ majoring in 173 ‘Avionics’, educational and professional programme ‘Operation of Aviation Onboard Electrified Systems’ in the discipline ‘Computer integrated avionics systems’.

The topic of the binary lesson was ‘Transmission Medium’. During the binary lesson Volodymyr Povod introduced the students to the main types of transmission medium in on-board digital computers. Hennadii Oleksiienko and Rodion Yarovyi spoke about practical applications in aviation and shared their experience in servicing and applying in practice on-board electrical machines with various internal information transmission systems. At the end of the class, Volodymyr Povod conducted a survey to determine the quality of the class material acquisition.
