No one could have imagined even in a nightmare that there would be a war, and after the enemy's invasion of Ukraine and the Russian shelling of our peaceful cities with various weapons, a significant amount of ammunition of various types would remain on the streets, endangering people directly.
On 5 April 2025, on the occasion of the International Day for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Awareness and Mine Action, Oleh Bazhan, Head of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work, held an information session for students of Kremenchuk Flight College to discuss the risks associated with explosive ordnance. By showing a video about the hidden threat of mines, shells, unexploded ordnance, the students were given the most useful information and the main message ‘DO NOT TOUCH - IT IS DANGEROUS!’, as well as the algorithm of actions in case of their detection.
The increased awareness of students about the threat posed by explosive ordnance and adherence to personal safety will help protect the most valuable thing – human life.
