28-03-2025
On 28 March 2025, Olha Khomiak, the teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a practical class with the use of quest technologies in the discipline ‘Business and Labour Law’ on on the topic ‘Employment Contract’ for the third-year students majoring in 272 ‘Air Transport’, the educational and professional programme ‘Air Transport’. The students were offered a plan for preparing and conducting the quest: preparation of a route sheet for completing the stages; preparation of questions and answers; completion of game tasks and summing up the results. The completion of each stage of the quest resulted in the accumulation of points, which ultimately formed the scores of the quest participants. Thanks to a constructive approach to learning, the students not only streamlined their theoretical knowledge, but also sought the best way to solve their applied problem. Thus, the practical class, conducted in the form of a quest provide an opportunity to immerse in the process of acquiring skills; develop individual cognitive and practical abilities of each student; maximise identification of initiative, use of individual acquired knowledge; reveal critical thinking, competitiveness and leadership among students. All students were involved in the work and were active and productive. This was facilitated by the effective selection of methods and forms of work, as well as the establishment of favourable and psychological conditions for effective interaction in the group and self-knowledge of students in the classroom. The purpose of the lesson was fully realised and the expected results were achieved.
