On April 9, 2025, Igor Vasin, the teacher of the Cycle Commission of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, together with Anatolii Maslo, the Chief Engineer of the Aviation Service, and Serhii Boyko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport Technologies of the National University ‘Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic’, conducted a binary lesson in the discipline ‘Fundamentals of Aviation Radio Communication, Radar and Radio Navigation’ for the students of the group TEdbsr-21-1 of educational and professional degree ‘professional junior bachelor’ majoring in 173 ‘Avionics’, educational and professional programme ‘Operation of Aviation Onboard Electrified Systems’.
The topic of the binary lesson was ‘Purpose and classification of aviation radio communications. Principles of construction of onboard radio stations’. During the binary lesson, Igor Vasin introduced the students to the purpose and technical characteristics of aviation radio communication equipment. Anatolii Maslo spoke about the principles of construction of on-board radio stations and the principles of their operation. Serhii Boiko spoke about the classification of aviation radio communication equipment. At the end of the lesson, the speakers answered questions from the students about the peculiarities of the construction of onboard radio stations.
