The HALO TRUST Representative Office in Ukraine organises and conducts training courses for instructors on explosive ordnance risk education due to the increase in the area contaminated with explosive ordnance, large-scale destruction of infrastructure and residential areas, increase in potentially dangerous areas and number of civilian casualties.

Thus, from 10 to 13 March 2025, in this training course in Brovary, Kyiv region, was attended by Oleh Bazhan, Acting Head of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work. According to Oleh Mykolayovych, the team of trainers provided the necessary amount of knowledge on explosive ordnance and mine action in our country, which is relevant and necessary to preserve the lives and health of citizens. Upon completion of the training course, all participants received an international certificate of instructor in explosive ordnance risk education.
