 On 14 March 2025, an informational event was held on the upcoming Horizon Europe programme grants in the area of ‘Civilian Security for Society’, which are planned for 2025.

The Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA was actively represented by:

from the Air Transport Department – head of the Department, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, associate professor Tetiana Kozlovska and teacher Inna Deriabina;

from the Scientific Activity Organization Department – head Serhii Vladov and an associate researcher Nataliia Kitsel;

from the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group - specialist Svitlana Stelmakh and translator Yulia Onyshchenko; and

form the Service Organization Department – specialist Mariia Oleksandrova-Khovrat.

During the event, the participants discussed the key aspects of participation in the grants, including:

conditions of participation and examples of applications for Horizon Europe programme grants;

main challenges of applying for the programme;

structure of Cluster 3 ‘Civilian Security for Society’;

Upcoming grants in the Cluster for 2025.

Separately, participants covered the issues of identifying risk factors and approaches to their determination, as well as the EU strategic documents and legal acts on the above issues.

The event become an important platform for experience exchange, useful information acquisition and practical advice sharing on the participation in Horizon Europe programme grants. The participants discovered current trends in the Civilian Security for Society area, which opens up new opportunities for international cooperation and research initiatives in 2025.
