On 11 March 2025, Victor Panchenko, the teacher of the Cyclic Commission for Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, conducted a practical class with the use of quest technologies for 3rd year students (group TPMdbsr-22-1) in the discipline ‘Theory of Automatic Control’ on the topic: ‘Dynamic characteristics of ACS elements’.

At the beginning of the lesson, the basic knowledge and skills of the students were updated, and the following issues were considered: what forms of dynamic characteristics exist; what an ordinary differential equation looks like; when time characteristics are used; when a transfer function is used. The students actively answered and joined the discussion.

Later, the teacher offered the following questions and tasks to the students: in which cases mathematical equations are used in the production of new devices; what are the principles of creating automation devices; solving a crossword puzzle on the topic.

During the discussion of these issues, a multimedia board was used to show a presentation and demonstrate a crossword puzzle.

After that, the teacher directed the students' attention to an example of solving practical problems. The students received individual tasks to solve independently. At the end of the practical lesson, students had successfully solved the tasks, gained new theoretical knowledge and acquired practical skills.
