On 12 March 2025, the College’s employees took part in the webinar on access to international electronic resources, organised by Clarivate company with the participation of Bentham Science representatives and specialists of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.

The College was represented by Serhii Vladov, the head of the Scientific Activity Organization Department, Nataliia Kitsel, the associate researcher of the Scientific Activity Organization Department and Oksana Borysenko, the head of the Practical Training Department.

The webinar was dedicated to organisational and technical aspects of registering access and basic use of resources:

Clarivate – Web of Science, Journal Citation Report, Master Journal List;

Elsevier -Science Direct, Scopus I Researcher Discovery, SciVal;

Research4Life – to Hinari, AGORA collections, ARDI portal, GOALI, OARE portal and connect access to Scopus and other databases;

Bentham Science – to the resources and journals of the publishing house, in particular, Open Publishing.

During the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to:

learn the peculiarities of access to leading scientific databases.

learn the benefits of using Bentham Science resources to scientific research.

consider algorithms for effective search and analysis of scientific information.

discuss the prospects for the development of open access to scientific publications.

The speakers shared their practical advice on working with electronic resources, publishing and adherence to the principles of academic integrity.

The participation in such events contributes to the professional growth of teachers and scientists and allow the introduction of modern educational approaches into the educational process. The College staff will continue to support initiatives that promote open science and academic integrity.
