On 4 March 2025, Inna Ryshkova, the teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a demonstrative practical class for the students of the group Pdsr 22-1b and trainees of the group 31A of the Postgraduate Education Department of the Department for the Organization of the Educational Process in the discipline ‘Professional English (spoken language, phraseology of radio communication)’ on the topic: ‘Radio Communication on the Aerodrome Flight Circle’
In the process of studying the educational material, the teacher used modern methods of updating the basic knowledge: radio exchange simulation and express test.
Inna Serhiivna used practical methods to ensure that the students learned the phraseology of standard and non-standard approach, practiced radio communication skills, and improved their oral and written communication, listening, pronunciation, and speaking skills. The methods used were explanation, practical exercises (active listening, gap-filling, role-playing), listening comprehension and group work. The students developed the non-standard situation analysis skills, imitated the radio exchange between the pilot and ATC, and performed comprehension and speaking exercises. The lesson concluded with a summary and discussion of clear and unclear points.
Daria Riabtseva, a teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, and Yuliia Onyshchenko, a translator of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, and an instructor at the Postgraduate Education Department of the Department of the Organization of the Educational Process, who attended the lesson, noted that Inna Ryshkova has innovative educational technologies and implements a competence-based approach in the learning process.
The lesson was conducted at a high scientific and methodological level.
