On 26 February 2025, the College hosted an off-line workshop dedicated to the work of the student self-government bodies (SSGBs) in higher and vocational pre-higher education institutions of Ukraine. This event was a part of a large-scale annual programme – aGAIN 3.0 Student Self-Government Development Workshop.
The aGAIN 3.0 Workshop aims to promote the development of the student self-government bodies and active youth participation in the recovery processes at the education institutions and community levels. Within the programme, 20 SSG teams from different institutions of Ukraine were selected, including the team of our College.
Olena Tsymbalistova, the Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities, gave a welcoming speech, highlighting the importance of such initiatives for the student youth development.
Organisational support for the event was the result of the coordinated work of Tatiana Bulat, the Head of the Leisure Department, Olena Chernikhova, the Head of the Department for the Organisation of the Educational Process, and Svitlana Stelmakh, the specialist of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group.
Representatives of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kremenchuk City Council, Anastasia Morozova and Maryna Babenko, were invited as guests.
During the workshop, coach Yevheniia Kryvosheienko held an intensive training session covering main aspects of the student self-government activity. The students of the college actively worked on planning and creating their own projects, receiving valuable advice and practical skills for their implementation.
The final event of the programme will be held in November 2025. The participants will have the opportunity to present their projects, the best of which will receive grant support.
The aGAIN 3.0 Student Self-Government Development Workshop is organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine within the framework of the EU-UNDP flagship partnership ‘EU4Recovery - Empowering Communities in Ukraine’ and the Government of Denmark.
