On 28 February 2025, Serhii Sych, the teacher of the Cyclic Commission for Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, conducted a practical class with the use of quest technologies for 3rd year students of the group TPMdbsr-22-1 in the discipline ‘Electrical Engineering and Electronics’ on the topic: ‘Direct and Alternating Current Circuits’. The lesson was held in the room 504.
At the beginning of the lesson, the basic knowledge and skills of the students were updated, and the following issues were considered: what is electric current, complex DC electrical circuits, electrical circuit, direct current, alternating current and electrical circuit diagram. The students actively answered and joined the discussion.
Later, the teacher offered the following tasks to the students: electric current, elements of electric circuits, direct current, alternating current, power, symbols of electric circuits, series connection of resistors; solving a crossword puzzle on the topic.
During the discussion of these issues, a multimedia board was used to show a presentation and demonstrate experiments using electrical measuring equipment.
After that, the teacher directed the students' attention to an example of solving practical problems. The students received individual tasks to solve independently. At the end of the practical lesson, students had successfully solved the tasks, gained new theoretical knowledge and acquired practical skills.
