On 27 February 2025, the senior teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, Candidate of Economics Olena Pushkar conducted a lesson with the use of quest technologies on the topic ‘Revenue, Profit, Profitability’ for the 4-year students majoring in ‘Air Navigation’.

The innovative use of quest technologies was that the theoretical material presented by the teacher in the form of lecture and posted on the Moodle platform was combined with practical task on calculating the main economic indicators to determine company’s revenue, profit, and profitability.

Lesson’s objective: To familiarize students with the basic economic calculations at the aviation industry enterprise through an educational interactive quest.

Teaching methods:

• Active learning of the topic using the lecture material on the Moodle.
• Students’ feedback to the teacher.
• Search and use of statutory and reference information on the Internet.

 During the class students mastered the methodology for calculating main economic indicators. The skills of searching for the necessary information on the Internet and its practical use were practised.

Conclusion: The lesson allowed to achieve the objective, students actively cooperated with the teacher and reached the expected results.
