On 21 February 2025, Olena Chernikhova, the head of the Department for the Organization of the Educational Process, and Oksana Borysenko, the head of the Practical Training Department, joint the round table: INNOVATION AS A DRIVER OF DEVELOPMENT – OPPORTUNITIES AND PROSPECTS OF EU – Ukraine COOPERATION, which was held on the basis of Sumy State University.

The objective of the event: to establish a dialogue and cooperation between scientists, entrepreneurs, government, and civil population on the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in Ukraine, as well as its integration into the EU innovation systems.

During the event, the participants discussed the vision and support for entrepreneurship development in Ukraine: national, regional and local levels. They determined the business opportunities offered by the European Enterprise Network, as well as Horizon Europe programme capabilities and tools for business. The participants considered the market potential and prospects of agribusiness on the EU markets and the development of innovative ecosystem in cooperation with the EU: YEP accelerator, 4Business business association and support for entrepreneurship development.
