Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the qualifying stage of the literary review-competition ‘Shevchenko’s Readings 2025’ dedicated to 221st anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth.
Under the guidance of Tetiana Bulat, the head of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work and Vira Siora, the teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, the students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the qualifying stage of review-compitition.
The jury included a well-known Ukrainian writer, historian, scientist, philologist, journalist, local historian, folklorist, storyteller, author of 168 books (including historical monographs, textbooks, and practical manuals, popular science books) Volodymyr Shevchenko, which is so symbolic.
The students recited the poetry of the Great Kobzar in such an exciting, captivating and talented way that everyone present at the event touched the heart of Shevchenko's works and plunged into their atmosphere.
The winners of the review-competition were announced. In the ‘Recitation of works by T. Shevchenko’ nomination, the first place was taken by Bohdan Pushkariov, a student of the study group Pdsp-24-1b, who will represent the college at the university level.
The second place was shared by Ihor Avdonchenkov and Vladyslav Varvarinets, students of the study group REBdsr-24-1b. The third place was awarded to Maksym Lobko, a student of the study group TEdsr-24-1b, and students Valeriia Savchenko (study group Pdsr-24-1b) and Oleksandra Oliinyk (study group REBdsr-24-1b).
A creative team was also formed to perform in the Original Genre nomination. The participants prepared a colourful performance on Shevchenko's theme, combining elements of singing, choreography and artistic reading.
