Olena Tsymbalistova, the Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities, Maryna Kiriukhina, the Head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, Vira Siora, the teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, Yuliia Onyshchenko, the translator of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, Svitlana Stelmakh, the specialist of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, as well as female students of the first (bachelor’s) degree joint an online meeting with Lyudmyla Huliaieva, an expert in grants and fundraising. She spoke about the challenges faced by Ukrainian women who were forced to migrate to Poland, as well as internally displaced women in Ukraine.

During the discussion, the participants shared real-life cases of entrepreneurship and workplace adaptation, and discussed trends in the Ukrainian labour market. They received useful information on migration policy, gender equality and ways to economic independence in times of crisis.

The meeting, organised by the Copernicus Centre for Polish Studies (University of Michigan, USA), was an important step towards raising awareness and promoting the development of social initiatives for women in crisis.
