Higher education students of the College and translator of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group Yuliia Onyshchenko, with the assistance of Svitlana Stelmakh, a specialist of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, joined an online meeting with representatives of JUNOS, the youth wing of the NEOS party, Austria. The speakers at the event were Stef Slager, International Secretary of JUNOS, and Sophie Wotschke, Member of the Austrian National Council from NEOS.

Stef Slager shared his presentation with the participants, telling them about the history of JUNOS, their programme and main achievements. His colleagues complemented his speech by revealing the tasks set by the party, as well as their attitude to current global events, including the situation in Ukraine.

The next stage of the meeting was an exchange of views on the impact of youth movements on the political situation and their views on the development of international relations in the future. The conversation then moved on to the political situation in Austria, in particular the cooperation of JUNOS with other youth political parties both in Austria and abroad. Possibilities of cooperation with Ukrainian youth were also discussed.

Sophie Wotschke answered questions about her work in the Austrian National Council, sharing her experience and current initiatives.

The meeting was an important step in the development of international dialogue and mutual understanding between the youth movements of Austria and Ukraine.
