On 5 February 2025, the webinar ‘Peculiarities of re-issue of certificates of accreditation of educational programmes in connection with the implementation of the new list of names of fields of knowledge and specialities’ was organised by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance. The event was joined by Olena Tsymbalistova, Deputy Director of the College for Education and Research, Olena Chernikhova, Head of the Department for Organisation of the Educational Process, and Oksana Borysenko, Head of the Practical Training Department.
During the webinar, Andrii Butenko, Head of the National Agency, emphasised that dialogue with higher education institutions remains a priority: ‘The team of the National Agency is committed to the principle that we are always ready to help higher education institutions: to answer inquiries as clearly and correctly as possible, to simplify and automate as many processes as possible.’
Head of the Secretariat Oleksandr Khymenko spoke in detail about the legal framework governing the updated list of names of fields of knowledge and specialities, and also emphasised the interaction between higher education institutions and the National Agency.
Alina Lepiokhina, representative of the National Agency's Secretariat, answered the key questions of the participants, in particular: the updated application form; the procedure for extending the validity of certificates of accreditation of educational programmes issued before 24.02.2022; the grounds and conditions for their distribution in the EDEBO; recognition of certificates issued by foreign agencies. In addition, the speaker emphasised the important nuances of communication between higher education institutions and the National Agency.
