Every year, on 22 January, Ukraine celebrates the Unity Day. Officially, this holiday was established by the Order of the President of Ukraine ‘On the Unity of Ukraine Day’ of 21 January 1999 No. 42.

On the occasion of the Unity of Ukraine Day on 22 January 2025, the Scientific Library of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs prepared a virtual exhibition entitled ‘We are a nation, we are a force, we are a people!’. This material is dedicated to the unity, strength and invincibility of the Ukrainian people. The members of the cadet and student self-government of the KFC of KhNUIA, in particular, Marharyta Kaptsevych and Volodymyr Kravchenko, joined the viewing of this thematic material and shared their impressions of the importance of such initiatives for maintaining national consciousness and patriotism among young people.

This event highlighted the role of higher education students in preserving historical memory and national values, bringing them together around the ideas of unity and independence of Ukraine.
