From 13 to 15 January, the Aviation Week Network platform organized an international webinar ‘Smart Wrenches in Aviation MRO: AI and Automation’ dedicated to the opportunities and perspectives of using artificial intelligence in the maintenance and operation of aircraft, involvement in technological and production processes of flight preparation. Particular attention was paid to the use of AI to model and predict unforeseen flight situations, analyse the impact of human factor on task performance, and create optimal conditions for improving aviation safety.
The webinar was joined by Olena Tsymbalistova, Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities, leading academic staff of the Aviation Transport Department – Head of the Department Tetiana Kozlovska, senior teachers Andrii Tsarenko, Alla Reuta, Anatolii Yanitskyi, Valentyna Syvolozhska, Olena Davitaia, as well as teachers Oleksandr Samohlib, Volodymyr Zhurid, Inna Dieriabina. The students majoring in 272 Aviation Transport also took an active part in the event, where they had the opportunity to learn the latest trends in aviation technology and discuss key aspects of the future development of the aviation industry.
