On 10.12.2024, from 9:30 to 10:50, a binary lesson on the discipline ‘Design and Operation of the Mi-8MTV helicopter’ was held in room 37 of the academic building for students of the group Pdsr-21-1b of the educational and professional programme ‘Aeronautics’ of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, branch of knowledge 27 ‘Transport’, speciality 272 ‘Air Transport’.

Teacher Oleksandr Samokhlib presented the topic of the binary lesson ‘The use of composite materials for fuselage skin’.

The content of the lesson included information about the specifics of the invited specialist's work.   Then, using a multimedia board, he presented an extremely relevant presentation material, which was followed by an active discussion of the following issues: ‘History of helicopter development starting from BO-105’ ‘Design features of the main rotor blades of the H145/ВК117-D3 helicopter’, ‘Use of composite materials in the fuselage structure’, ‘Differences in the Finestron tail rotor’. The students actively asked questions and in the course of the dialogue clarified the design features of the H145/ВК117-D3 helicopters.

At the end of the lesson, the participants summed up the issues discussed. The invited expert spoke about the perspective areas of development of the National Police of Ukraine's aircraft fleet and answered all the questions of the students.
