Senior teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines Svitlana Hrybanova has completed professional training and received a Google Cybersecurity certificate.

Over the eight courses of the certification programme from Google experts, the teacher gained the necessary knowledge in the field of cybersecurity: identifying risks and threats and methods of its mitigation, as well as practical experience working with Python, Linux and SQL, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, and intrusion detection systems (IDS). Svitlana Hrybanova learned to identify common cybersecurity vulnerabilities and gained practical skills to work in popular and modern digital security fields: cybersecurity analyst and security operations centre (SOC) analyst.

The knowledge gained will be used during classes and meetings of the scientific club.
