On 10 December 2024, the Head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines Maryna Kiriukhina conducted a round table on ‘The Holodomor (Ukrainian Famine) as Genocide: Legal and Historical Aspects: Discussion on the Recognition of the Holodomor as Genocide, Analysis of International Legal Norms and Historical Evidence’ for the students majoring in 272 Air Transport and 174 Avionics.

As part of the educational process, future aviators of Kremenchuk Fight College joined an important conversation about the Holodomor. During the round table, the students actively discussed the legal and historical aspects of recognizing this tragedy as genocide, as well as the importance of remembering the victims.

Conducting of the round-table on the Holodomor at Kremenchuk Flight College was an important step in shaping the historical consciousness of young people. The students learned more about one of the most tragic pages in the history of Ukraine and realized the need to preserve the memory of the Holodomor victims.
