International Relations and Interuniversity Activities Department was established to plan, organize and coordinate international and interuniversity cooperation in the field of education and science, which is carried out by KLK KhNUIA within the limits of its powers. They are following: expanding and deepening international contacts, increasing the authority of the College in the world, promoting professional development of teachers, cadets, students by coordinating scientific and pedagogical, educational contacts with relevant institutions abroad and in Ukraine, summarizing the results of this work.

The department is guided in its activities by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On Higher Education"; resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Charter of the University; Regulations of the College; this Regulation; orders of the University; as well as orders, instructions of the College by orders of the director of the College and his deputies.

The main tasks of International Relations and Interuniversity Activities Department are: 

• development, organization and coordination of activities in the field of international and interuniversity cooperation of KFC KhNUIA on education and science,, namely the development of proposals for its expanding and strengthening, facilitation of the establishment of direct links with domestic and foreign higher education institutions, as well as other foreign partners;

• planning, organization, coordination and implementation of measures related to the implementation of the obligations of KFC KhNUIA under agreements on interuniversity cooperation and international agreements.
• organization and coordination of events for the preparation and holding of interuniversity scientific conferences, symposia, seminars, etc., including international ones;
• organization and conclusion of agreements, agreements on cooperation, scientific consulting and internships with higher education institutions of Ukraine and abroad.
• organization and participation in programs of international internships for applicants for higher education, pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff.
• organization and introduction of double and parallel graduation of higher education applicants according to educational and professional programs of the first bachelor's level.
• conducting career guidance work among foreign institutions of higher education and institutions.
