The second stage of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition was held at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal
Affairs, which was attended by 20 cadets and 1-2 year students.

At the beginning of the intellectual competition, Valentyna Hardash, a Lecturer of Ukrainian and Literature at the Cycle Commission of Philological Disciplines, told
about the initiator of the competition - Canadian businessman and philanthropist Petro Yatsyk, who was born in Ukraine and left for the West after World War II. The first
competition of Ukrainian experts took place in 2001.
After the competition, a professional jury consisting of teachers of Ukrainian and foreign literature Svitlana Cherednyk and lecturers of Ukrainian and literature of the Cycle
Commission of Philological Disciplines Nataliia Koversun, - determined the winners:

1st place - student Daryna Sydorenko;
2nd place - cadet Nazar Kiseliov;
3rd place - cadet Vladyslav Shpak.
