Classroom of Design and Operation of Aircraft Piston Engines №3

The main tasks of the Classroom are:

  • conducting all types of educational classes using demonstration materials (models of units and componenets of aircraft engines, stands of engine systems, presentations, diagrams, etc.) in the disciplines: “Piston Aircraft Engines”, “Theory of Thermal Engines”, “Aircraft Design”, “Module 16. Piston Engine” according to the requirements of Part-147, “ASh-62IR Engine Operation”;
  • study of the design of components and units of aircraft engines and their systems;
  • mastering the basic operational characteristics and modes of operation of piston aircraft engines;
  • detection of typical malfunctions, methods of their elimination and means of prevention;
  • acquisition of the necessary skills and abilities to analyze the impact of design and operational factors on the normal operation of units, parts and components of aircraft piston engines;

defection of units and components with use of modern methods and means of technical diagnostics.
