The speakers provided recommendations for the implementation of mechanisms of the Community Policing concept in the context of decentralization of power and law enforcement reform, in particular through the development and adoption by local authorities of relevant municipal strategies (programs) for security; use of modern digital services to effectively combat new types of crime; conducting joint training of police officers and citizens (open dialogues, joint solution of security tasks of territorial communities, discussion of inconvenient issues, etc.) in order to establish communication, operational interaction and ensure the appropriate level of mutual respect and assistance; stimulating patriotism and volunteering for effective cooperation of citizens with law enforcement agencies. Communication with the experienced law enforcement professionals today is the key to success in the future.
